A note from the Genealogy Interest Group:

Because it appears that the COVID-19 pandemic will not be ending anytime soon and public meeting rooms have not yet reopened at our preferred sites, we will not hold Genealogy Interest Group meetings the rest of this year.  We will reassess the possibilities when we reach 2021.  Also, as most of you probably know, we lost our valued friend, member, and planning partner, Jay Carollo, on August 23.  If you missed this sad news, his obituary is posted at https://www.andersonfhs.com/obituary/496768/Jay-Carollo----08/23/2020/.

For the time being, here is an opportunity you might consider as a way to continue your genealogy education:

The next RootsTech conference, sponsored by FamilySearch, will also be a virtual event and will be held February 25-27, 2021.   Registration is now open and free to everyone.  Here is the link:  https://www.rootstech.org/?lang=eng.

We will pass along any other learning opportunities and tips as we become aware of them.  We are missing all of you...stay safe.
